Who are we?
We are Women in Domino’s.
What are we?
We are a franchise led organization built by women for women, made up of all different leadership positions.
What’s our goal?
To inspire, motivate, empower, and support women's equality within Domino’s leadership positions. To make Domino’s the best company in the world for women to work at. Currently, in Domino’s there are 79 women franchisees, making up only 11% of all franchisees nationwide. Only 9 out of the 79 own 10 or more stores. We as the DWLA want to cultivate a culture where women can grow into franchisees. As well as make up more of the leadership positions throughout Domino’s.
Currently, there is a strong likelihood that there is a strong female presence supporting a male franchisee. We make up so much of the support systems, but still for some reason fail to have a level playing field for leadership roles. We want to start by working with all-star women at all leadership levels within Domino’s. It is as simple as reaching out and letting GM’s or Franchisees know that there is a group that understands the challenges of being a woman leader in the workplace. We understand the intimidation of undertaking the task of franchising. Sometimes all it takes for a person to take that next step is to know that they are supported.
We at the DWLA want to make sure that all women feel supported and know that they too can make their dream career a reality. The DWLA wants to garner a close relationship with FMS and the women within it. To help future franchisees and women in corporate leadership have a platform to discuss ideas, share contacts, and ultimately make our own roles more efficient.
Our goal is to have annual meetings in person to discuss the future of our organization, and changes currently affecting the business. The annual meeting will serve to inspire and motivate current and future members. We will also have quarterly Teams meetings to ensure we are supporting and focusing on the DWLA’s mission. We would organize a board to make sure there is always a leader from the four specific regions. The board will be focused on areas such as corporate leadership, GM’s, FMS, Franchisee’s, and franchise leadership positions. The DWLA is for women by women to foster equality within the leadership of Domino’s.
